所有的鸟都有两个脑子，前面的半个负责觅食、飞翔、养育子女、生育，后面的半个负责生气。一只快乐的鸟儿往往并不经常歌唱，它的时间都花在其他事情上面了。

All birds have two brains. The front half is for feeding, flying, raising and procreating, and the back half is for getting angry. A happy bird does not often sing. It spends its time doing other things.

当鸟儿被关进了笼子，它们的前半边脑子就逐渐退化萎缩了，它们依然会唱歌，只是唱出来的已经不是求偶或求救的歌，而是诅咒了。鸟儿是没有魔力的生物，但是它们是森林的信使，木灵能看到它们的诅咒。看到带着诅咒的人，木灵就不会给他治病了。

When birds are caged, the front half of their brains gradually atrophy and they still sing, but instead of singing about mating or asking for help, they sing curses. Birds are not magical creatures, but they are messengers of the forest, and Woodspirits can see their curses. Seeing a person with a curse, the Woodspirit will not heal him.

鸟并不喜欢自由，它们只是不得不自由，这是它们血液里的东西，谁与它们的自由做对，它就拉他下地狱。

Birds don't like freedom, they just have to be free, it's in their blood, and whoever takes their freedom, it drags them to hell.
